Book 2: Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

 

Ender's Game is a 1985 military science fiction novel by American author Orson Scott Card. 

 

A film adaptation of the same name, written for the screen and directed by Gavin Hood, and starring Asa Butterfield as Ender, was released in October 2013.

Book 3: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

 

The Fault in Our Stars is a novel by John Green. It was published on January 10, 2012. The title is inspired by Act 1, Scene 2 of Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, in which the nobleman Cassius says to Brutus: "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings." 

 

An American feature film adaptation of the same name as the novel directed by Josh Boone and starring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, and Nat Wolff was released on June 6, 2014.

Book 4: Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin

 

In the valley of Fruitless mountain, a young girl named Minli lives in a ramshackle hut with her parents. In the evenings, her father regales her with old folktales of the Jade Dragon and the Old Man on the Moon, who knows the answers to all of life's questions.
